If you book a package, which includes a flight element plus at least one of the following travel services for the same trip (which covers a period of more than 24 hours or includes overnight accommodation):

You will be ATOL protected under British Airways Holidays Ltd. by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 5985. ATOL is a protection scheme for holidays and is managed but the Civil Aviation Authority. ATOL protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad in the unlikely event that British Airways Holidays goes out of business.

Many of the flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holidays on this website.  If you do not receive an ATOL certificate , then the booking will not be ATOL protected.  If you do receive a certificate but all parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected.  Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk/ATOL-protection/Consumers/ATOL-certificate

Adding paid transfers, excursions, sightseeing tours, theatre tickets, attraction tickets will not create a Package if the latter services do not account for a significant proportion of the value of the combination and are not advertised as, and do not otherwise represent, an essential feature of the combination.
